description: What Rounds is, and what its name means.
---

Rounds is a macOS app that shows the live state of your AI coding sessions in one list. A small pill sits at a screen edge. Hover or click it, and the session window slides out.

## What it shows

Rounds shows each session of Claude Code, Codex and herdr agents, with its state: working, needs your input, ready, and more. It runs in the background. It has no Dock icon and no menu bar item. The pill is its only entry point.

## The name

Rounds is a round of drinks: one for each session. The four filter tiles have bar names: Last Call, On Tap, Served and Aged. When nothing needs you, Rounds asks: "Another round?"
